Indore : The police have nabbed two loot accused, while a third accused is still at large. The arrests came after the police traced the owner of the motorcycle used in the loot. The victims were two students who had come to the city for studies. According to ASP Simala Prasad, Sagar, a resident of Pandhurna, Maharashtra is studying engineering in the city while his cousin Gyanesh Paradkar is studying B Pharma. The two boys shifted to a flat in Dube Apartment in New Palasia area only 10 days ago. On the night of incident, the two had dinner and returned to their flat located on second floor of the building. They found three youths who were trying to break open the lock of their flat. As the duo confronted them, one of the youths wearing orange T-shirt trained a country-made pistol on Sagar while his accomplices searched Sagar and took Rs 5000 from him. The accused then took the boys into the flat where they threatened them and demanded more money. Waving of gun made the boys nervous and they gave the accused their ATM cards and passwords. One of the accused stayed with Gyanesh in the flat while two took Sagar to the ATM kiosks where they withdrew Rs 6500 from Sagar’s SBI account and Rs 1000 from Gyanesh’s Central Bank account. After leaving Sagar back at the flat, the trio fled on their motorcycle towards Lakshmi Memorial Hospital. The two brothers then lodged a complaint at MIG police station, which forwarded the same to Tukoganj police. Based on the registration number of motorcycle, Tukoganj police traced its owner and then arrested accused Tarun and Anurag, while a search is on for the third. The two accused are being questioned by the police.
