Stabbing-spree: 3 sent to jail

Indore : Chandan Nagar police arrested three accused who went on stabbing spree in Sahayog Nagar on Sunday evening which left four persons injured. The accused were reportedly under the influence of narcotics at the time of attacks. The arrest were made late in the night.

According to the police, the incident occurred around 5pm on Sunday. Salem Shah (20) of Ashiyana Palace, Mohmmad Mubarik (22) of Chandan Nagar, Javed (25) of Bada Kuwa and Sharukh (22) of Sahyog Nagar received stab wounds when three men went on the rampage.

The injured were admitted to the hospital where they are undergoing treatment for their injuries while the police have registered a case and began investigating the matter. Taking serious note of the incident, the police activated its informer network and finally zeroed in on the three accused at Sirpur graveyard.

When the police team approached the graveyard, the accused tried to escape by taking advantage of darkness but were nabbed after a brief chase. They were identified as Salman (20) of Chandan Nagar, Salman (19) of Chanduwala Road and Talib Shah (19) a resident of Nandan Nagar. The police also recovered the knife from their possession.
