Indore: As pumps at ashwant Sagar developed technical snags, water supply in parts of the City would be badly hit, on Monday. The snags will pose problem for residents as pumps at Jalood pumping station too are out of order as filth and garbage got stuck in them.

The MPEB began work to fix the snag but the areas getting water from ashwant Sagar would be affected and several overhead water tanks would also remain empty, on Monday.

Sources say the pumps of Narmada phase III have stopped functioning due to flood in Narmada River. They say at least five employees of Narmada Project are stranded at the pumping station as the river is flowing over the danger mark and also entered pumping station.
