Mhow (Madhya Pradesh): Film director and music composer Sanjay Leela Bhansali is eyeing his next project Love & War with a star-packed cast featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. As the film enters the production phase, the team is set to visit Madhya Pradesh's Mhow for filming major scenes of the movie.
After the completion of initial shoot in Mumbai, the production team, along with the cast are set to film for about 15 days in Mhow. Mhow a perfect spot to provide a backdrop for a period drama.
Mhow's cantonment areas have a rich military history. Mhow was the headquarters for the British Raj's Fifth Division of Southern Command. The place is known for it's pre-colonial architecture and structures and holds significance in India's independence.
The film, is set to release on March 26 next year. Inspired by Raj Kapoor's Sangam, the film's plot will explore a love triangle set against the backdrop of war.
The movie set in the pre-independence era is expected to blend Bhansali’s signature royalness with a captivating plot.
"Love & War" has already been creating buzz among cinema lovers as the real-life pairing of Kapoor and Bhatt is set to blend in the art of Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is known for his cinematic works like Padmavat and Devdas.
