Rtd Arabian soldier dies in city hospital

He was operated for thyroid a day before Heart attack takes his life

Indore: A 60 year old Arabian citizen died in a city hospital due to heart attack post his thyroid operation here on Tuesday. The operation was successful but some health problem developed on Monday morning which led him to death. Police sent the body of the deceased for autopsy and are investigating the matter.

As per information, the deceased is identified as Khamish Alamkhamari of Oman was a retired soldier of the Arabian army and was a friend with Mohabbat Ali, a doctor in Oman whose son is resides in Vishnupuri colony of Indore. It is found that on Ali’s recommendation Khamish came to the city for the operation.

He came to the city on May 7 and the doctor admitted him on May 24 for the operation. He was operated on Sunday and was covering well but on Monday early morning, he got a heart attack and died. Police registered a case and launched further investigations in the matter.
