Pre-Pro-biotics workshop at SIMS

Indore: Biotechnology department of SIMS organised a workshop on “Pre- Pro biotics: The Powerful Immunity Boosters” at its campus, Rau. The workshop witnessed around 150 students from different institutes. The importance of pre & pro-biotics in our daily life was discussed. Prebiotics are like rich fertilizer that selects good bacteria i.e.probiotics to grow quickly. Students were given practical experience for the preparation of pro-biotics and discussed the mode of action of pro-biotics inside the human body. The workshop was organized by Dr. Pragya Rathore, HOD, Biotech. She explained the importance of attending such workshops during studies.
