Indore : Vijay Nagar police on Saturday registered a case against the chairman and directors of Phoenix Infra Estate International Limited, a real state company, for duping large number of city residents in the name of allotting plots and residents in the township.
According to SP ( East) OP Tripathi, a case has been registered against the company officials on the complaint of more than 20 residents of the city.
The case has been registered against company chairman Jitesh Nashine, his brothers and company directors ogesh Nashine, Mahesh Nashine and other directors, Ahmad Jiwani, Vijay Kumar Gautam, Chandrashekhar ( all Nagpur residents), besides local head of the company Pradip Rathore ( resident of Parshavnath Nagar- Indore).
“ A case of cheating and fraud has been lodged against seven company officials and we’ll now send a police team to Nagpur for detailed investigations in the matter. If necessary, the accused will be taken into custody and will be brought to Indore,” Tripathi said.
Vijay Nagar police station incharge CS Solanki said that the three accused – Pradip Rathore, ogesh Nashine and Mahesh Nashine – have been detained for questioning in the matter. ” The complainants alleged that the company officials had taken Rs 3 lakh to Rs 7 lakh each from them and inked an agreement during the last few years to allot plots in it’s under construction Nature Valley township coming up in Betma Khurd area on Indore’s outskirts. But, despite the agreement with the company’s officials and the complainants no plots were registered in their name yet,” Solanki said.
Police registered a case under IPC Sections 420, 467 and 468 against the accused and started an investigation.
