Indore : A pervert is brothering girl inmates of Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET)’s hostel for past some days but no action has been taken against him so far.

The girl hostellers filed a complaint in writing with the IET authorities on Tuesday stating that the accused entered the hostel premises three days back and made some obscene gestures.

The hostellers said that the accused of about 25-year-old would have been stalking them for past some days. “He slipped inside the hostel premises on Saturday night and made obscene gestures looking at us. We called up hostel officials and informed them about the incident but to no avail. The boy remained in the campus for about half-an-hour and then left,” they said.

Hostel warden Meena Sharma said that she would inform the incident later.

“Had I been informed on time, I would have got the boy caught,” she said. The warden added that security at the hostel should be beefed up.
