Indore : Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has said that it was set to invite tenders for selecting its software partner for organising all its exams, except for public service commission exam, in computer based mode.
“We will float the tenders by December 12 anyhow,” said MPPSC secretary Manohar Dubey. A decision of converting all the exams of MPPSC into a computer based tests, barring public service exams, was taken in a meeting held on Monday.
The software partner would have to organise exams on behalf of the MPPSC. It would also have to evaluate answer sheets and deliver the results.
On a query whether public service commission exams would also be made computer based, Dubey said that these tenders are not for that exams. “That’s a big exam. For it a separate decision would be taken,” he added.
The announcement to change pattern of exams from paper-pencil format to computer based format was made by the state government after it was confirmed in inquiry reports of Special Task Force that papers of exam for ayurveda officer post and public service commission exam-2012 were leaked.
