Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): The truth of a youth’s death came to the fore after post-mortem. It was a murder and the deceased brother became the accused. The entire case turned upside down due to suspicion of the police and the opinion of the doctor.

Chimanganj Mandi police has taken the brother of deceased Rahul Chandravat into custody. Rahul, resident of Dhancha Bhawan, was taken to Charak Hospital in a critical condition. The case is of December 24 last year. The family refused to do post-mortem. The entire case was narrated to the police from Charak Hospital.

The police intervened and post-mortem was done. The report said that the injury was not caused by falling. This was enough for the police to know everything. The entire case was thoroughly investigated. Statements were recorded. It proved that Rahul was beaten up by his elder brother Naresh. It resulted in Rahul’s death.

The police registered a murder case against Naresh and took him to custody. If the police had not acted promptly in the case and had not conducted post-mortem, they would not have found anything. The family was busy preparing for Rahul’s funeral.

The police said that the team was investigating Rahul’s murder since the day of the incident. They were also talking to people of the area. On the basis of that, when the family’s statements were recorded, the truth came out.
