MP February 19 Weather Update: Heat In Bhopal, Indore & Rains In Gwalior, Mixed Weather Leaves Denizens Confused

Weathermen said that several western disturbances are active in February, which will lead to temperature fluctuations every two to three days. Thus, mixed weather conditions are likely to prevail across the state this entire month.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A Western Disturbance and a Cyclonic Circulation have caused mixed weather conditions in the state, leaving denizens perplexed!

Gwalior-Chambal received showers on Tuesday while the sun shone hot in Bhopal and Indore-Ujjain on Tuesday. The weather will be clear on Wednesday; however, there is a possibility of light rain in the eastern part, i.e., Sidhi, Singrauli, Shahdol, Seoni, Mandla, and Balaghat, on February 21-22.

Earlier on Tuesday, the day temperature in most of the cities of the state remained above 30 degrees. It was recorded at 32.2 degrees in Bhopal, 32 degrees in Ujjain and Jabalpur, and 31.5 degrees in Indore.

Owing to rain, mercury dropped by 4.5 degrees in a single day to 24.9 degrees in Gwalior. Day temperatures remained above 32 degrees Celsius in over a dozen cities like Betul, Dhar, Damoh, Sagar, Narmadapuram, Khandwa, Khargone, Ratlam, and Mandla.

Similarly, mercury remained above 15 degrees in many cities.

Mixed weather in February

Weathermen said that several western disturbances are active in February, which will lead to temperature fluctuations every two to three days. Thus, mixed weather conditions are likely to prevail across the state this entire month.

Forecast:

19 February: Weather will remain clear in Bhopal, Indore, and Ujjain-Jabalpur. Gwalior-Chambal may witness clouds.

20 February: There will be an increase in day and night temperature.
