Mhow (Madhya Pradesh): Western railway's first Heritage Train that travels from Mhow to Patalpani and Kalakund restarted on Sunday after four months. On the very first day, many tourists had to return from Mhow station due to the heavy rush. The cleanliness inside the coaches impressed everyone.
Officers of various departments, including those of the maintenance department, were at the station to see off the passengers. The tourists had fun at every station due to the good weather.
Tourists from Maharashtra, Gujarat, Indore, Dewas, Ujjain, Dhar and Khargone enjoyed the nature and greenery on the scenic route.
In order to enhance the tourist amenities on this route, the Western railway is considering a proposal to set up a food stall at the Tantya Bhil station.
The railway is also considering a proposal to allow entry of tourists coming by road to Patalpani to the cabin-like stage built for viewing the natural beauty of the spot and the waterfall by charging Rs 10 as a platform ticket from them. This money would be spent on the maintenance of the railway station.
