Mandsaur: 'Main Corona Volunteer' launches Roko-Toko campaign in Malhargarh

Mandsaur (Madhya Pradesh): Volunteers registered under ‘Main Corona Volunteer’ on Thursday launched a Roko-Toko campaign in Malhargarh town of Mandsaur district.

They stopped passers-by and asked them to wear masks and follow Covid-19 guidelines, properly. The volunteers have been active in the town for the past few days and distributing medicines and foods among Covid-19 patients.

District coordinator, Tripti Baiargi said that the volunteers have been encouraging residents to get themselves vaccinated. “They are helping citizens to reach the vaccination centres,” she said.

Meanwhile, sub-divisional officers of Police PC Panwar and Tehsildar Vandana Harit distributed masks to the residents during the launching of the campaign. Badrilal Chouhan, Narendra Pandey, Sonu Sharma Molakheri, Bharat Singh Shaktiwat, Ashok Dak and other citizens of the town were also present on the occasion.

Bairagi said that volunteers are also active in rural areas including Suwasra, Sitamau, Garoth, Bhanpura and Pipliyamandi and persuading citizens to follow Covid protocols.
