Project Officer Integrated Child Development Project (ICDP) Mandsaur, BR Mujalde informed that Fatima Bi, wife of Mohd Mobin, an Anganwadi Sahayika posted at Ward No 28 Anganwadi centre No 02 has been terminated from her post.
Action has been taken against Fatma Bi after her video of distributing the pamphlet of a political party candidate contesting the election went viral on social media. Following this, she was charged with the violation of the model code of conduct.
Before this, on June 15 and 17, instructions were given to the sector supervisor Chanda Dahina after holding a sector meeting about ensuring the proper implementation of the Model Code of Conduct after inspecting the Anganwadi centre, ward 28, centre number 02.
Meanwhile, after going through the videos, clarification was also sought from them, in response to which they have accepted to have campaigned for the elections. They have violated the election model code of conduct, they are personally guilty for the said act.
Earlier, Mandsaur MLA Yashpal Singh Sisodia displayed the video on social media while distributing the pamphlet of Congress ward candidate's campaign pamphlet and Congress's issued election resolution letter and expected the district election officer to take cognizance of the required action.
On the instructions of Mandsaur additional collector and deputy election officer RP Verma, the assistant has been removed in the action taken through the Child Development Project Department. In the order issued on Wednesday evening, with immediate effect, Anganwadi assistant Fatima Bi of ward number 28, centre number 02, has been terminated from the post.
