Mandleshwar Police Station Gets ISO Certification

Mandleshwar (Madhya Pradesh): Mandleshwar police station received ISO certification due to its quality of service towards the people. After Karhi Maheshwar and Bagod of Maheshwar tehsil, Mandleshwar police station is the third police station to receive an ISO certificate.

In a ceremonial event, an ISO certificate was presented to police station in-charge Deepak Yadav by SP Dharmaraj Meena in the presence of ISO consultant Jitendra Khandelwal on Monday.

The event was attended by MLA Rajkumar Mev, senior BJP leader Satish Chand Moyade, civic body president Vishwadeep Moyade and mandal president Dr Devendra Patidar.

SP Meena said ISO certification would improve police operations and foster a positive relationship between the police and the community. He also said that while criminals should fear the police, ordinary citizens should feel safe and supported.

MLA Mev stressed the importance of enhancing the police's image and building rapport with the public. The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony of police personnel for their contributions in achieving the certification.

JE & computer operator in Lokayukta's net

Dhar (Madhya Pradesh): A Lokayukta team arrested JE Anil Vaskel and computer operator Ganesh Iske on Monday for taking bribes in a case of electricity theft in Singhana, Dhar. The incident involved demanding bribes to reduce the penalty for electricity theft in Singhana near Manawar.

On May 18, Anil Patidar of Devgarh, faced a power outage. Unable to connect with Singhana office, he restored electricity using a different cable. The next day, JE Vaskel and his team issued a challan of Rs 60,000 for the theft.

On May 21, Patidar met with meter reader Vasudev, who informed him that JE Vaskel was demanding a bribe of Rs 40,000 to lower the challan amount and avoid further action. Patidar reported this to Lokayukta office in Indore.

After verifying the complaint, Lokayukta officials caught JE Vaskel and Ganesh Iske red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 30,000. Efforts are ongoing to locate meter reader Vasudev. The operation was led by DSP, Lokayukta, Anand Chauhan and included various constables.
