Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A man’s head and legs were severed from his torso after he lay down on a railway track in an intoxicated state and a train ran over him, cutting his body into three pieces.

The man allegedly committed suicide after his wife refused to return from her parents’ house when he went to bring her home.

The incident occurred at the railway track near Kumhedi under Lasudia police station limits on Friday evening.

According to the police, the deceased was identified as Jagdish Kewat, a resident of Kabit Khedi. His family members said that Jagdish was a vegetable vendor.
