Man arrested with foreign currencies, stolen items

Dewas : The Industrial area Police last night have arrested a man from Bajrang Nagar and have recovered cash, foreign currencies and gold-silver jewellery from him.

SP Abhay Singh has instructed every officer and employees of every police station to do regular intensive checking in their respective areas. Under this checking campaign police have arrested Keshar alias Keshu s/o Sadan Bheel, resident of Kukshi (Dhar) from the slums of Bajrang Nagar. Police have said that he has been living in Dewas for past two years.

On interrogating him, Police recovered jewelry worth Rs 1 Lakh, and bundles of the notes of Rs 1, 2, 5, 10 and 20. Police also recovered one coin of Malyasia and two coins of United Arab Emirate from him along with two other coins which the police are not able to identify. After investigating the case Lady Sub-inspector Rani Baig said that the money and the jewelry recovered from the accused are definitely stolen items but the accused is not revealing from where did he stole all these things. She also said that there is a possibility of any big accused person behind these stolen foreign currencies but possibility can be done only when the accused Keshar reveal anything regarding this matter.
