Manawar (Madhya Pradesh): A fertilizer-filled loading vehicle (MP46ZE9519) travelling from Singhana to Manawar crashed into a roadside ‘kuccha’ house in Jajamkhedi village, Dhar district on Sunday afternoon.

The driver lost control of the vehicle before fleeing the accident scene. Fifty-year-old Parubai Kirade was sleeping inside her house when the crash occurred. She sustained serious injuries to her hands and legs in the impact.

Emergency responders initially transported her to Manawar Civil Hospital, but doctors quickly determined that her condition required more advanced care. She was transferred to Barwani District Hospital via 108 Ambulance Service.

‘The accident happened due to high speed and careless driving in the afternoon,’ eyewitness Lallibai Kirade said. The crash created chaos in the small village as neighbours rushed to help the injured woman. Manawar police have seized the loading vehicle as part of their investigation into the incident. Authorities are actively searching for the driver who fled the scene immediately after the crash.

Local residents have expressed concern about the frequency of speeding vehicles on the road through their village, especially those carrying heavy loads like fertilizer. Police officials confirmed that investigation is underway and charges will be filed once the driver is located.
