Madhya Pradesh: Villagers in Alot invited with yellow rice fail to get jabs, stage protest outside Panchayat Building

Alot: Failing to get vaccinate after visiting vaccination centres repeatedly, villagers from Karadiya village in Alot tehsil of Ratlam district staged protest outside Panchayat Building on Friday.

Villagers claimed that they were called for vaccination, but no one got the vaccine. Villagers added that vaccination Maha-Abhiyan going on across the state in a big way, but not a single person from Karadiya village got a jab.

They said that before beginning of Maha- Abhiyan local panchayat invited people for vaccination giving them yellow rice, but even after visiting vaccination repeatedly, they are not getting vaccine.

On Friday, large number of villagers thronged to gram panchayat bhawan as they came to know that vaccination will be done between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm here.

When the villagers went to the Gram Panchayat Bhawan, they found it to be locked. Upset with this, they sat on a dharna outside the Gram Panchayat. Villagers said that they came here leaving rest of their work at side and now its total waste of their day.
