Mandsaur (Madhya Pradesh): Lord Pashupatinath Temple of Mandsaur gained national spotlight at International Temples Convention and Expo (ITCX 2025) Maha Kumbh in Tirupati.

The ancient temple's remarkable eight-faced (Ashtamukhi) Shiva idol, carved masterfully from a single stone, earned recognition among 25 distinguished temples featured in the conference's special publication.

Leaders from across India gathered at Asha Convention Centre for the three-day conference from February 17-19. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu and Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant attended the event.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi endorsed the gathering through a written message of support. Temple Connect partnered with the Ministry of Culture to organise the nationwide temple administrators' meet, focusing on modernising management systems and building stronger networks between religious institutions.

The conference emphasised sharing innovative practices and enhancing devotee services at temples throughout India. Manager Rahul Runwal and Revenue Officer Tehsildar Vinod Sharma represented Mandsaur's Pashupatinath Temple at the conference. They presented details about their ongoing Pashupathi temple.

District Collector and Temple Committee president Aditi Garg took to social media to celebrate the achievement, marking a crucial milestone in bringing Mandsaur's ancient Pashupatinath Temple to national attention.

The temple's selection for the souvenir highlights its growing importance among India's religious landmarks. Temple authorities gained valuable insights into modern management techniques while preserving ancient traditions through the conference.
