Madhya Pradesh: One peddler in Nagda arrested with 8 gram smack in Nagda

Nagda: Acting on a tip-off Mandi police caught a peddler with eight gram of smack on Friday night.

Arrested peddler is identified as Zuber Khan, 23, a resident of Chetanpura, Nagda. Police said that Zuber used to sources drugs from Jaora.

Police station in-charge Shyamchandra Sharma said that on Friday evening they received information that a peddler is moving with drugs.

Cops installed pickets on the road connecting Jaora - Nagda and detained Zuber. While frisking, police seized eight grams of smack from the car. He has been booked under Section 8/20 of NDPS Act.

Sharma said that Zuber told cops that he along with other people sell a pouch for Rs 200 in Nagda. Nahar Khan, a resident of the Hammalpura locality in Jaora used to supply this smack, Sharma added. Search for other accused is on.
