Madhya Pradesh: Nursing, Paramedical Admission Till Oct 15, Classes Start On November 1

DHE sets timelines as nursing & paramedical programmes come under its umbrella

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Entrance exams for admissions in nursing and paramedical courses are to be conducted and results declared between May 15 and July 31 whereas classes are to be commenced on November 1 for the academic session 2025-26, said a circular issued by Department of Higher Education (DHE).

As nursing and paramedical courses have now come under its purview, the DHE issued clear guidelines to establish and enhance coordination among universities, affiliated colleges and relevant regulatory bodies.

The DHE also issued a comprehensive schedule to streamline the recognition, affiliation and admission process for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in state colleges and universities for the academic session 2025–26.

1. Recognition and Affiliation Timeline:

---The regulatory institutions bodies must complete the recognition process of institutions from May 1 to June 30.

---Universities must finalise affiliations between July 1 and July 31.

---NoC/recognition by the DHE (where applicable) should be concluded by August 31.

2. Admission Process:

---Entrance exams and results for admissions are to be conducted and declared between May 15 and July 31.

---Colleges must complete the admission process by October 15.

---The academic session will commence on November 1.

3. Private University and College Requirements

--All private institutions must submit details of their approved intake capacity and recognised programmes for 2024–25 by April 30.

--For the session 2025–26, applications for recognition must be submitted by August 15.
