Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Heat wave has started showing its effect in Madhya Pradesh. The maximum temperatures rose in Indore and Ujjain belts. The day temperature in Dhar-Ratlam reached 38 degrees on Monday. Similarly, Ujjain witnessed 37 degrees, temperature in Bhopal and Indore rose to 35 degrees.

The Meteorological Department has predicted a further rise in mercury over the next 2 days, before it might fall again temporarily due to a new system.

According to the Meteorological Department, a Western Disturbance will be active in North-West India from March 12. Its effect will be seen in the next one or two days. Due to which there is a possibility of a drop in day and night temperatures.

Temperature rises over 38 degrees during the day, 23 degrees at night

The effect of heat has increased in the state since the last 3 days. According to the Meteorological Department, on Monday, Dhar-Ratlam recorded 38 degrees, Shivpuri-Mandla 37 degrees, Guna 36.5 degrees, Khargone 36 degrees, Sagar, Seoni, Narmadapuram-Tikamgarh 35.8 degrees, Khajuraho 35.6 degrees, Damoh-Betul 35.5 degrees, Narsinghpur 35.2 degrees and Khandwa 35.1 degrees Celsius.

Talking about big cities, Ujjain was the hottest. The temperature in Ujjan reached 37 degrees. Indore recorded 35.6 degrees, Bhopal 35.4 degrees, Gwalior 34.5 degrees and Jabalpur 34 degrees.

On Sunday-Monday night, Dhar recorded the highest temperature of 23.2 degrees. On the other hand, Bhopal and Indore recorded more than 21 degrees. No effect of icy wind now
