Madhya Pradesh: Farmers’ conference held in Bagli

The guests were brought from main gate of Krishi Mandi to conference venue in bullock carts and women members were welcomed by showering flower petals.

Bagli (Madhya Pradesh): Vrihad Kisan Milan conference was organised in agriculture produce market of Bagli on Sunday.

The guests were brought from main gate of Krishi Mandi to conference venue in bullock carts and women members were welcomed by showering flower petals. The conference started by garlanding the portraits of Goddess Shvetangana and Lord Balram.

“Farmers should develop themselves and the country by establishing maximum association with the State Bank of India for economic prosperity and security.” This was stated by Chief General Manager of Bhopal Circle (Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh) Umesh Pandey, as chief guest in the conference organised under the joint aegis of the State Bank of India's main branch and agriculture branch Bagli, Hatpipliya and Barotha. Deputy general manager appealed to farmers to open and operate accounts actively.

Giving a welcome address, area manager Arvind Mishra informed farmers about the purpose of the conference. Chief Manager Praveen Kumar Singh provided product information and farmers Praveen Chaudhary, Shishir Yogi, Usha Parmar, Kamal Soni and others spoke of excellent services of the bank.

On this occasion, 48 loan sanction letters (total Rs 2.09 crore) were distributed. Teacher Waris Ali conducted the conference successfully and branch manager Vipin Gupta proposed the vote of thanks. Chief manager Kishore Soni and bank officers and employees were especially present on this occasion.
