Madhya Pradesh: CT scan machine identifies 1,110 patients with lungs infection in Nagda

Nagda: The CT scan machine installed at Indubhai Parekh Memorial Trust Hospital (Jan Seva) proved its worth by identifying 683 and 427 patients suffering from lungs infection in April and May respectively.

At the said hospital run by Grasim Industries a total of 958 patients from Nagda, Khachrod and other nearby places, underwent a health check during April. While 728 were scanned during May.

Grasim public relations officer Sanjay Vyas said, “The CT scan machine was installed at Jan Seva Hospital on January 30. During the second wave of Covid the machine was used for checking health of people without interruption.”

Management praised the staff of the hospital for working 24x7 during the pandemic.
