Madhya Pradesh: Congress Demands Action Against Abusive Comments After Youth Passes Indecent Comments On Leaders |

Khetia (Madhya Pradesh): A memorandum was submitted by Congress party members demanding that an FIR be registered against those who use abusive language against Congress leaders.

This action follows an indecent comment made by a youth from Niwali village on social media about Congress' former national president, Rajya Sabha MP Sonia Gandhi, and leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi. The comment has angered Congress workers.

Under the leadership of Block Congress Committee president Dinesh Soni, along with Lok Sabha candidate Porlal Kharte and Madhya Pradesh Congress secretary Prakash Khedkar, Congress members organised a silent rally.

They marched from near the rest house to the police station, where they handed over the memorandum to station in-charge. The Congress members demanded that action be taken against the individual under BNS and IT Act, seeking maximum punishment.

During the rally, former Block Congress Committee president Rajesh Nahar read the memorandum, while Sudesh Bhavsar expressed gratitude on behalf of the Block Congress Committee. Senior Congress leader Babu Ratan Chaudhary welcomed Porlal Kharte and Prakash Khedkar as observers from the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee.
