Madhya Pradesh: Blast occurred in Hatpipliya while disposing of garbage, two injured

Hatpipliya: Two team members of the team Paryavaran Rakshak got injured on Saturday evening in a blast occurred while disposing garbage.

Cleanliness campaign was being run at Narsingh Ghat by the Paryavaran Rakshak team since June 1. On Saturday evening, when the team cleaned the Ghat and were destroying the garbage, there was a very loud explosion in the garbage heap. In this explosion, two members of the team Yash Vinod Joshi (wearing cap) and Harsh Rajawat (in red T-Shirt) were seriously injured. They called out to the other team members in the injured condition and the entire team took them to nearby Masih Hospital for first aid.

Prior to this incident, the team members had informed the administration about this dangerous waste, but no one's attention was drawn towards it. Finally, before the arrival of the rainy season, the team along with its members took the step of destroying the waste on its own and this incident happened. In the incident Yash Joshi had to undergo surgery in a private hospital in Indore due to injury near the eye. The waste from the hospital which includes empty bottles and injections is being thrown in the Narsingh Ghat River.
