Ratlam (Madhya Pradesh): Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) Minister Chetan Kashyap announced that Madhya Pradesh has received investment proposals exceeding Rs 3 lakh crore from various Industry Conclaves over the past year.
Highlighting the success of Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav's recent foreign trip, Kashyap revealed that the initiative alone garnered an impressive Rs 78k crore in investment proposals, underscoring the state's growing attractiveness to investors.
Kashyap emphasised that the government is not only focused on fostering entrepreneurship but is also dedicated to initiatives aimed at welfare of the poor, farmer support, women’s empowerment and cultural enrichment.

Notably, the mining conclave in Bhopal attracted Rs 20k crore in investments. Looking ahead, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Chhatarpur on December 25 to lay the foundation stone for Ken-Betwa Link National Project and will participate in Global Investors Summit in Bhopal in February 2025.
The development of a special investment region in Ratlam is also underway, promising to attract more industrialists and create over 3 lakh jobs in the state.
