Susner (Madhya Pradesh): A wedding procession in Pipaliyanakar village near Susner turned violent when a youth attacked the dancing baraatis with a knife, leaving five people injured.

The incident occurred during the wedding procession of Kripal Singh from Magaria village on Sunday night. As the procession reached the government school, a minor clash broke out between Jagdish Bagri and Raju alias Rajaram Bagri, a local.

Following the clash, Raju began to abuse Jagdish and then he pulled out a knife and stabbed Jagdish twice, causing serious injuries below his stomach.

Witnessing the attack, Jagdish's relatives—Radheshyam Bagri (45), Rambabu Bagri (30), Natwarlal Bagri (35) and Balram Bagri (25) rushed to help him but were attacked by Raju, who then fled.

Radheshyam suffered severe injuries to his left leg, while Rambabu was injured in his elbow and stomach, Natwar on his wrist and Balram in his right hand.

The injured were quickly transported to Civil Hospital Susner in a jeep by Elkar Singh, a relative. After receiving first aid from Dr Akhilesh Bagri, the police were informed. A case was registered against Raju and further investigation is underway.
