Madhya Pradesh: 3 held for stealing generator dynamo from cinema hall

A probe revealed that the accused stole a dynamo from generator room of a cinema hall which was closed owing to pandemic.

Khetia (Madhya Pradesh): Three persons were arrested in connection for committing a theft in a nonoperational cinema hall in Khetia village of Barwani district.

Those are: Tohit Pathan, Badal Davar and Rohit Chauhan, all residents of Khetia. A case has been registered against trio under Section 457 and 380 of Indian Penal Code and were present before the local court.

A probe revealed that the accused stole a dynamo from generator room of a cinema hall which was closed owing to pandemic.

Khetia police station in-charge Santosh Sawale said that on October 29, theatre owner Deepak Singh and his accountant Jeevanlal went to the theatre and found that dynamo was missing. They lodged a complaint at the Khetia police station.

During probe police received a tip-off about three persons who were trying to sell some equipment in the market.

The trio were detained and the equipment was seized. The trio has confessed to their crime, said police.
