Khargone (Madhya Pradesh): Polling will be held in Barwaha and Maheshwar of Khargone on Friday in the context of three-tier elections. For this, election-related materials were distributed from the respective district's headquarters. When polling parties reached the respective booths with the poll material they were welcomed by Block Level Officers and villagers.

At the Mavi polling station in Bankawa of Barwah region the polling party was welcomed with music. Similarly, at the polling booth of Chitavad village, the parties were welcomed with garlands.
From Barwaha and Maheshwar, 972 candidates are contesting for the post of Panch, 687 for Sarpanch, 185 for district members, and 37 for district panchayat members. These will be elected by 3, 60, 040 voters of the area.
As per tehsildars of respective regions, in Barwaha 557 candidates are contesting for Panch, 237 for Sarpanch, 73 for Janpad member, and 14 for Zila Panchayat. In Maheshwar, 415 are standing for the post of Panch, 450 for Sarpanch, 112 for Janpad, and 23 for Zila Panchayat.
