Indore : A joint team of District Health Department and District Administration inspected two hospitals of Annapurna area on Thursday. While the team found one of these hospitals fit, the other lacked facilities.

A show cause notice has been served to one of the hospitals.

A team led by CMHO Dr Ashok Dagaria and SDM DK Nagendra inspected the Care Plus Hospital, located at Usha Nagar extension and Unique Super Speciality Centre at the Annapurna Road.

The team found untrained staff and poor parking facility at the Care Plus Hospital.

“ There was only one qualified doctor for the 30- bed Care Plus Hospital.

The nursing and paramedical staffs were not qualified to treat the patients. SDM Nagendra also asked the hospital administration to show an approved map for the hospital,” District Health officer Dr Madhav Hasani said.

Facilities in Unique Hospital have been found meeting the norms laid by the administration.

It is to be noted that Health Department had inspected three hospitals of Aerodrome area a few month ago and also served notices but no action has been initiated against them. Hope this hospital is not over looked by officials, like the other ones which have been inspected and served notices, but have not been acted against.
