Indore (Madhya Pradesh): In a bizarre incident, a 16-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging herself at her place under Dwarkapuri police station limits on Wednesday.
Her family members said that she took the drastic step after her mother scolded her for not waking up early. According to the police, the deceased was identified as Renuka, daughter of Ganesh Rathore, a resident of Rishi Palace Colony.
Her family members said that Renuka was a student of class X. Her mother tried to wake her up early as they had to go to her maternal grandparent’s home. When she did not wake, her mother scolded her and left for the maternal grandparent’s home leaving Renuka and her younger brother at home. Later in the evening, her brother found her hanging and informed the family members. Her father is a tiles mason.

A 17-year-old girl committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her place under Khajrana police station limits on Wednesday. It is said that she took the drastic step due to a failed love affair.
However, the exact reason behind her extreme decision is yet not clear as no note was recovered from her place.
Depressed woman hangs self at brother’s house, dies
A 53-year-old woman from Neemuch committed suicide by hanging herself at her brother’s place under Bhanwarkuan police station limits on Thursday afternoon. According to the police, the deceased was identified as Kuldeep, wife of Gurumukh, a native of Neemuch. Her family members said that she had hanged herself at her brother’s house in Ambikapuri Piplyarao. She was suffering from depression and her treatment was ongoing.
