Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Lasudia police registered a case against two persons for checking–in in a city hotel with fake identities on Tuesday. While checking in the accused also submitted fake IDs of two girls who accompanied them. The police are investigating the case further.
According to Lasudia police station incharge Taresh Kumar Soni, Sakshi Mehta, a resident of Shrinagar Extension who runs a hotel in Scheme Number 136 in the city has lodged a complaint that
two men accompanied by two women booked two rooms in her hotel on Monday night on fake identities.
On Monday night, two men with the two women reached the hotel and booked two rooms there. When the hotel employee asked them to give their identity proof, the accused informed him that they have a soft copy of the same on which the employee told them to send the copy to the mobile number of the hotel owner.
When the owner who is also the complainant reached the hotel she called the four to the reception and talked to them. The two men told her that their names were Kuldeep Jain and Prem Ramesh Kumar as indicated by their IDs but the women did not conceal their identities and told their true names that were different than what was submitted in the hotel. The hotel owner immediately informed the police.
The police found that the accused named Irfan and Rehman, residents of Chandan Nagar and Aerodrome area of the city had hidden their identities and had submitted the IDs of the girls with different names in the hotel without informing them about the same. A case under section 420 of the IPC has been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway into the case.
