Indore: Three End Life Within 24 Hours

No suicide notes were recovered from them and the investigation is on to know the reason behind their taking such an extreme step.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Three people including a BCom girl student committed suicide within 24 hours in the city. No suicide notes were recovered from them and the investigation is on to know the reason behind their taking such an extreme step.  

According to the police, 24-year-old Neha Thakur, a resident of Badal Ka Bhatta area under Banganga police station jurisdiction ended life by hanging herself at the place on Friday. Her father was not at home while her brother was on the first floor of the house at the time of the incident.

The incident was discovered when the milkman reached there and brother came downstairs. She was taken to the hospital but could not be saved. The police investigated the spot but no suicide note was recovered from there so the reason for her suicide could not be ascertained yet.

In another incident, 24-year-old Jitendra Singh, a resident of Bhicholi Hapsi area consumed some poisonous substance at his work place in the Lasudia area. After his condition deteriorated, he was rushed to the hospital where he died during treatment.

Reason behind this suicide was also no known. Another incident took place in the Annapurna area. Anil Verma (55 years), a resident of Lalbabgh area died during treatment after he consumed some poisonous substance at his place on Saturday.

Anil was a hostel owner but what drove him to take such an extreme step could not be known. The investigation is on and the statements of the family members are being recorded by the police. The autopsy reports are also awaited.
