Indore: Software engineer arrested for abetting wife’s suicide Was in a relationship with another woman

A man employed as a software engineer in a company was arrested by the police in connection with his wife’s suicide in Lasudia area on Friday.

Indore: A man employed as a software engineer in a company was arrested by the police in connection with his wife’s suicide in Lasudia area on Friday. She committed suicide after she came to know that her husband has an extra marital affair.

City Superintendent of Police (Vijay Nagar) Pankaj Dixit said Singapore Green View Township resident Anjali Pathak committed suicide by hanging herself at the residence in October 2018.

The police started an investigation to know the reason behind her suicide when they came to know that Anjali was suffering from depression as her husband Himanshu Pathak’s relation with a woman.

She came to know that Himanshu has an extra marital relationship with his colleague in the office. She warned her husband many times due to which they often had dispute.

CSP Dixit said that she was being harassed by the husband due to which she took such an extreme step.

After the statement of her family members and other people police registered a case against the accused under section 306 of IPC on Thursday and arrested him on Friday.
