Indore: Schools Will Have To Mandatorily Avail TC To Parents If They Desire

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Collector Asheesh Singh has directed all schools in the district to compulsorily avail TC (Transfer Certificate) to students if desired by the parents. Action will be taken against school operators who do not avail the TC on application.

In the public Jan Sunvai held on Tuesday in the Collector office, some parents of Agarwal Public School came to meet Collector Singh. They briefed that their children are not being given TC by the school. Collector Singh directed the District Panchayat CEO to investigate the matter and get the TC immediately to the parents as per rules. He said that such problems should not occur in other schools as well.

A large number of applications related to land and plots were also received in the Jansunvai. Collector Singh said that continuous action is being taken against land mafias in the city. Those who commit irregularities and cheat plot holders will not be spared. He discussed with concerned officials over telephone in many cases and directed for action.

A large number of disabled people came with applications for jobs, for which he directed concerned department to provide necessary training for skill development. He met citizens face to face and listened to their problems seriously and resolved them with sensitivity on the spot. A time limit was fixed for resolving such problems which could not be resolved on the spot.

Applications regarding housing, property, family disputes, cheque bounce, encroachment on private land, financial assistance to a sick person etc. were received in the public hearing. The cases were resolved on the spot in the public hearing. The remaining ones were directed to be resolved within the stipulated time limit.

Along with this, treatment, education and employment assistance was also provided to the needy. Instructions were given that the cases which cannot be resolved on the spot should be registered at the CM Helpline and a positive solution should be found within the time limit.
