Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Three days after BJP corporator Kamlesh Kalra lodged a complaint against Indore Mayor-in-Council member Jeetu Yadav for sending goons to his residence and attacking his son and family, a purported audio clip between the two has surfaced on social media.

The audio clip is said to be a phone call conversation between BJP corporators Kamlesh Kalra and Jeetu Yadav. In the clip, Kalra can be heard requesting Yadav to call back the goons from his residence, citing the presence of his elderly mother at home.

While Yadav can be heard screaming at Kalra, saying, "Tumne mera naam kaise liya?" (How dare you mention my name?). Yadav was referring to the conversation between Kalra and a municipal employee.

Kalra tried to pacify his furious colleague, saying they both hailed from the same party. "Are bhaiya, hum dono ek hi sangathan se jude hain!" (Brother, we are part of the same party.)

Yadav retorted, "Sangatha gaya chulhe mein" (Do hell with the party)!

After repeated requests, Yadav agreed to call back the goons that were sent to Kalra's house, following which the dup hang up the call.

Kalra accuses Jeetu Yadav of attack on family

Kalra, on Saturday, accused MIC member Jeetu Yadav of sending goons to attack his family. According to Old Indore Police, an FIR has been registered against 30 to 40 unknown people on the complaint of councillor Kamlesh Kalra's son Deepesh Kalra. Councillor Kamlesh Kalra met with Indore Police Commissioner on Monday and demanded that an FIR be registered against Jeetu Yadav as well.

Mayor calls it 'unfortunate'

Shortly after the audio went viral, Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava told mediapersons that the matter will be thoroughly investigated. And, if the clip is proven true, then it is highly unfortunate on their part. "Agar ye clip sahi hai, toh bahut durbhagyapurna hai."
