Indore: Policeman attacked with beer bottle

Aerodrome police station incharge Ashok Patidar said policeman Pawan Sen is posted in CID in the city.

Indore : A police constable was injured after a person attacked him with a bottle of beer in Aerodrome area on Saturday night. The police have registered a case and started an investigation into the case.

Aerodrome police station incharge Ashok Patidar said policeman Pawan Sen is posted in CID in the city. He had an argument with a person on 60 Feet Road when the accused attacked Sen with a beer bottle due to which he got critically injured.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the accused is acquaintance of victim and they had an argument over some issue after which the incident happened.

Pawan was earlier attacked by someone in Malharganj area few months back. The investigation is underway. Statement of injured policeman is being taken.

Girl dies

A 20-year-old girl, who was critically injured after hit by a truck, died during treatment on Sunday. The incident took place near IPC Academy on AB Road on Saturday morning.

Musakhedi resident 20-year-old Savita Thakur was going somewhere with a youth when their two wheeler vehicle was hit by a truck in which she was injured critically. She was admitted in a city hospital where she died.
