Indore: Change in weather conditions with clouds covering the sky on Sunday morning raised hope for relief from soaring heat. However, clouds didn’t dampen the temperature as maximum temperature remained one degree above normal. The night temperature rose four degrees above normal. Winds blew at a speed of 10 to 15 kilometres per hour.

Regional meteorological department said weather would remain same on Monday though night temperature may rise in the city. City recorded maximum temperature of 32.6 degrees Celsius on Sunday, which was one degree above normal while minimum temperature at 19 degrees Celsius was four degrees above normal.

“Weather will remain cloudy for next couple of days though there is no chance of rain or drizzle. It may pull down maximum temperature but minimum temperature would remain as high as on Saturday,” a department official said.
