Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Spiritual leader and rape convict Asaram Bapu visited the government super-specialty hospital for medical check-up in Indore on Thursday.
Enters Safely
He was accompanied by some close followers. Around 10 a.m., 10–15 of his followers entered the hospital through a side gate before Bapu arrived. They spoke with doctors and staff and informed them about his arrival.
Since his previous visit through the main gate had caused a lot of crowding, this time he was brought in through a side gate. Hospital staff and his followers made arrangements to manage his entry. Bapu reportedly felt some discomfort due to health issues.
Around 11 a.m., his car arrived at the side gate. His followers helped him get out. He was offered a wheelchair but chose to walk slowly using the railing, before being guided inside by his followers.
Inside the hospital, Bapu underwent medical checkups and some tests. No outsiders were allowed, and security guards monitored all gates. Only doctors and emergency staff were present during the checkups. Sources confirmed that Bapu remained in Indore on Thursday.
Meanwhile, at his Khadwa Road ashram in Indore, a Gita-Bhagwat Satsang and Purnima Darshan program is scheduled today, led by Shri Rama Bhaiji and Sadhvi Jyotsna Bahen. It is possible that Bapu may visit the ashram later.
Earlier, from August 1 to 3, Bapu was admitted to Special Jupiter Hospital for heart problems and was kept in the ICU. He was discharged on August 6. Recent tests showed elevated troponin levels (2465.59 pg/ml), a protein found in heart muscles.
High troponin levels indicate the risk of a heart attack. Dr. Ashok Thakur treated him at Special Jupiter Hospital.
