Indore (Madhya Pradesh): In the dialogue programme organised by Abhyas Mandal with the aim of doubling the city’s GDP, there was an in-depth discussion on the future of the city.
The programme was centered on the topic 'Indore 2030: New thinking of country-city development. Intellectuals, industrialists, educationists, social workers and administrative representatives from various areas of the city participated.
MP Lalwani shared the multi-dimensional plans for the future development of the city through a presentation. All the participants in the dialogue appreciated this vision and called it a concrete step to determine the direction of the city.
MP Lalwani said that the city does not have to stop at just becoming the leader in cleanliness, but we also have to lead the country in areas like data-based planning, smart transport, green construction, economic progress and innovation. Our goal is to double the city's GDP by 2030 and this will be possible only when we take every sector of the society along.
He also said that to achieve this goal, steps like strengthening the startup ecosystem, expanding digital services, promoting green manufacturing and supporting smart industries are being taken.
