Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The state cricket team reached Indore on Monday evening after winning the Ranji Trophy title for the first time in the history.
The city welcomed the team at the Airport with full enthusiasm. President of Indore Cricket Association, Kailash Vijayvargiya and office bearers of Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association were also present at the Airport. They congratulated the team and welcomed them to the city.
The players along with coaches and other staff members of the team reached Khajrana Ganesh Temple from the airport and performed worship there.
The state team won the Ranji Trophy title after defeating 41 times Champion Mumbai in the finals by six wickets at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday.
