Indore: Miscreants Unlock Car Parked Outside House, Drive Away In Broad Daylight; CCTV Clip Surfaces

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A broad daylight theft was reported in Madhya Pradesh's Indore city, in which a car was stolen from outside a residence in Indore's Anoop Nagar locality on Sunday afternoon.

The incident occurred under the jurisdiction of the MIG police station and has raised serious concerns about security in residential areas.

According to information, the vehicle owner was identified as Prathiba Nadencha, a resident of Anoop Nagar.

She reported that her car - a white four-wheeler bearing registration number MP09 CT 9175 - was stolen around 2:53 pm on Sunday.

After discovering the car was missing, Nadencha immediately checked the CCTV footage from cameras installed in and around her home. The footage revealed 3 unidentified miscreants involved in the theft.

In the CCTV footage, the trio was seen arriving on a motorcycle, conducting a recce of the area, and then executing the theft in a planned manner. One of them can be seen breaking the car’s lock while the others kept watch. Within minutes, the car was stolen away.

However, the faces of the suspects and the number plate of the motorcycle they used are clearly visible in the CCTV footage, which has been submitted to the police.

The MIG police have registered a case and initiated an investigation. The footage is being analyzed, and efforts are underway to identify and trace the culprits.

Residents of the area have expressed concern over the increasing number of such incidents and are demanding stricter patrolling and faster police response in residential colonies.
