Indore: MGM Medical College postpones interviews

Indore: The announcement of general elections by Election Commission and imposition of model code of conduct brought bad news for aspirants of teaching posts in Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College. Their interviews for the posts were postponed on Sunday.

The college administration had issued list of shortlisted candidates for interviews on March 10 on its website but after the announcement of polls on Sunday, dean Dr Jyoti Bindal cancelled the interviews and circulated the message to this effect. “Please note that due to announcement of elections, model code of conduct has become effective.

Hence, all interviews scheduled for March 11 and 12 for teaching posts in MGM Medical College, Indore, are postponed till further notice. Any further update will be notified on the website of Medical College,” the college administration told candidates.

Medical college has shortlisted 51 candidates for interviews on 49 posts of assistant professors while four candidates were shortlisted for four posts of associate professor and professor. Recruitment process to fill posts in anatomy, pathology, blood bank, pediatrics and obstetrics and gynecology had begun.
