Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The annual training camp of MP’s 1st Girls’ Battalion of the NCC has ended and, in this regard, a seminar was organised on Saturday at Mhow. Advocate Tanuj Dixit was invited as speaker on this occasion. He informed all the cadets about the important laws related to girls and the special sections related to them. Tanuj said, “Cat fishing means that someone befriends you by creating a fake profile on a social media platform to commit frauds and hurt your sentiments.”
The purpose of this legal seminar was to make girls aware of the necessary laws on their rights, as well as to make them aware of custody and its provision. More than 500 female cadets participated in this programme. This was the first time that a legal address was delivered by a lawyer at an annual training camp of the NCC. Dixit also discussed important issues related to cyber laws and how to avoid blackmail. The cadets also asked questions and got legal information.
Tanuj Dixit is also a member of the Internal Complaints Committee of the NCC Group Headquarters. The programme was organised by Col. Samir Chaudhary and his team.
