As a part of their nationwide protest, a delegation of Indian Medical Association, Indore chapter, submitted separate memorandums to Member of Parliament Shankar Lalwani and ADM Dinesh Jain addressing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Kamal Nath to take immediate action to implement Medical Protection Act.
Vice President of IMA-Indore Dr Sumit Shukla said, “We will continue to protest on June 15 and June 16 also and will work tying black ribbons. On the call of our national body, we will strike work on June 17 across the nation to protest against the West Bengal incident and to press our demands.”
