Indore Epilepsy Specialist Association organised a rally from Jal Auditorium till Regal Square under purple week on Wednesday. The event aimed at creating mass awareness. 19-year-old Cassidy Megan of Canada informed participants about misconception of the disease. Association secretary Dr VV Nadkarni said that Megan was diagnosed epilepsy at the age of 9. She soon went into depression. Later, she decided to create mass awareness on the disease. Medical director of Gita Bhawan Hospital, Dr RK Gour also organised a seminar.
