Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A youth driving a car at high speed under the influence of alcohol hit multiple vehicles under Palasia police station limits late on Thursday night.

The incident occurred near Bengali Square and the car driver was also injured in the accident and was sent to MY Hospital for treatment. However, no formal complaint has been lodged at the police station.

According to the police, the car (HR26 EH 9003) driven by Shubham Chaurasia who was under the influence of alcohol first hit a car, then a passenger auto-rickshaw, and also a motorcycle.

There was a pregnant woman in the car that was hit

During the accident, there was a pregnant woman in the car that was hit. Meanwhile, when police reached the spot Shubham was found injured in his car. With the help of passersby, he was taken to the hospital. The police have seized the car and further investigation is underway.

In another incident late on Thursday night, a speeding car crashed into the rear of a truck in front of Silver Spring Colony on Tejaji Nagar Bypass. No casualty has been reported in the incident.
