Indore: A 30-year-old woman lodged a complaint against a doctor for raping her on the promise of marriage. No arrest has been made till Tuesday evening.
Woman police station incharge Anita Derwal said victim residing in a rented accommodation in the city lodged a complaint that she is a childhood friend of Dr Upendra Dangi. After a long time, she again met Dangi on social media.
After taking her details, Dangi allegedly reached her rented house and raped her on the promise of marriage. He later refused to marry her. He also manhandled and threatened her with dire consequences. Police have started a search for him.
